Baby Crib Shoes Sewing Pattern

I’ve been so busy working on new products for my Etsy shop that it took me awhile to get this finished, but I am so excited it’s finally done. The baby shoe pattern is here!

I always got a lot of custom requests for these adorable baby shoes, but as Riley got too old for them, I stopped making them for my shop. So instead, I present to you the sewing pattern to make your own baby shoes.

I have perfected this pattern and the sizes over time, and many people who have bought pairs from me swear by them being the only shoes that will stay on their baby’s feet. I loved putting these on Riley when she was crawling and starting to walk. They weren’t bulky, perfect for foot development, but kept her feet warm and protected. I barely had to worry about her shoes falling off either.

This project does require to gather up a variety of materials, so I’d suggest planning to make a few pairs at once, either in one size, or the next sizes up so you’re ready when they grow out of them.

There are so many possibilities with the style of these shoes. Go for a nice basic soft denim or solid for something that will match a lot of outfits, or make them in a fun seasonal print.

You can purchase the pattern here for just $4.99. It includes sizes from 0-24 months, supplies list, pictures, step by step instructions, and the pattern pieces.

My favorite place to get fabrics is fabric.com and one of my favorite designer brands, Dear Stella, has a lot to offer on the site.

Something like this trendy neutral print by Dear Stella would work perfectly for these shoes.

Happy sewing! Would love to see what you make!
